Nice stop for you to enjoy a hand made coffee. Like the cake here. Not big, sometimes get noisy if a group people talk too much and loud. Parking is inconvenient. As a whole, still worth spend time relax and get good drink.

In search of good coffee in Hsinchu in the afternoon, we chanced upon this quaint little cafe that seems to specialise in coffee! The cafe is run by a young chap doing everything on his own. The cafe gave off a comfortable vibe with a woody interior and soft lighting illuminated from the window. Apparently, having the coffee to go is cheaper than dining in, which explains why most of the patrons ordered to go. Water is complimentary ------ Syphon Sommeil Coffee (NT 200) We ordered a Syphon coffee as suggested by the staff and went for a non-sour note coffee, which is the Sommeil house blend. It has a light fruity-berry hint and a lingering nutty aftertaste which was pleasant. Rather potent in caffeine too. Watching the preparation was really interesting, like a science experiment. I rate: 3.8/5 Honeycomb Latte (NT 150) The ‘Honeycomb’ to my surprise was like Dalgona coffee! With caramelised granulated sugar and baking soda to create the nuggets of airy toffee. Acts as a great sweetener with a great chunky texture. I had mine hot and it was a really sweet and pleasant dessert coffee. I rate: 4/5 ---Food Mentaiko Thick Bread (NT 110) Slathered lightly with mentaiko spread, the thick soft loaf was lightly toasted in the toaster oven with the oily mentaiko mayo spread to give a rich, slightly salty, and slightly spicy flavour on the soft bread. Topped with shredded nori to bring out the umami flavours. I rate: 4/5 Lemon Tart (NT 100) Lovingly reading the menu, this tart came to be an accidental item on the menu when the owner made it for Father’s Day. The addition of green lime zest on the tart was really the cherry on top of this very refreshing tart. It is very cold and close to being frozen, which gave it a sorbet-like texture. The tart pastry was also very good. I rate: 4.5/5

Stopped by this coffee shop and was immediately taken by its spacious and well-designed interior – a true visual treat. I had the pleasure of trying their lemon tart, which was exceptional, hinting that their food and dessert offerings are likely of similar quality. Their Sicilian coffee was robust and flavorful, though I do hope they consider serving it in a larger cup for those of us who like our coffee in generous amounts. However, during my two-hour stay, I was surprised to be the only patron, contributing to a very quiet atmosphere. Unfortunately, they do not offer Wi-Fi, which could be a drawback for some. Despite these minor points, the potential is undeniable, and I sincerely hope this spot gains the popularity it deserves.
